Gaddafi is dead. The former dictator of Libya met his dead like many victims of his violent regime prior to this.  Having said this, human beings shouldn’t take the life of others – not under any circumstances, but a revolution is a violent outburst of suppressed people. It’s maybe similiar to the eruption of a volcano, merciless, almost unstoppable. But like spreading magma of an erupted volcano, it halts some day. Paved with much grief lies a path of many horrors behind the people of Libya, but it’s up to them, which route the will take for future generations.

I’m not in a position to judge any of them, I’m not even able to give them some advice for the future – I barely know their culture, their mother tongue is alien to me, maybe I’m able to get a glimpse of their gasp of relief – just a tiny foreshadow.

They have my best wishes, whether they’ll form a democracy or something different. If freedom is the answer, then almost anything fits in.
